Nouvel atelier
2017 was a busy year in terms of preparing the new studio / workshop and show room, unfortunately interrupted by the hurricane Irma which caused most of the last 8 months (end of 2017 and half of 2018) was spent repairing the main house.
Anyway, below are some pictures showing the future space (stone sculpting area mainly, the clay area & future show room will follow).You can notice on the pictures below the very useful new sculpting rotating table, the stone sculpting area and the natural light coming from 3 directions. A fantastic place to work. And a stone order just arrived, with beautiful stones from Italy, USA and India. Plenty projects for 2018 and more ! The next steps are the doors, windows, some lights & wall painting, etc.
2017 fut une année bien occupée à préparer le nouvel atelier et espace d'exposition, malheureusement interrompu par l'ouragan Irma qui fit en sorte que les derniers 8 mois (fin 2017 et moitié de 2018) servirent plutôt à réparer la maison principale.
Vous pouvez voir dans les quelques photos ci dessous principalement l'espace de sculpture sur pierres. Avec la nouvelle table élevatrice pivotante, très pratique, et la lumière naturelle provenant de 3 directions pour cette espace de sculpture sur pierre. Un superbe endroit pour travailler. Et une commande de belles pierres d'Italie, USA et Inde vient d'arriver. Pleins de projets pour 2018 et après ! Les prochaines étapes sont les portes, fenêtres, quelques lampes et peindre les murs, etc. Les photos de l'espace modelage argile et expo suivront.
